About the role

The Digital Strategy Lead’s core responsibilities are providing thought leadership and developing digital marketing strategies across the entire SBS portfolio, which includes TV, radio and online.  The role will incorporate all digital touch points with the purpose of activating network priorities, increasing consumption across our key digital products and stimulating online engagement. This will be achieved by creating measurable acquisition and retention strategies fueled by data and working with the campaign teams to activate insight lead digital campaigns.

About you

To be considered, you’ll be able to make a significant contribution to the high-level strategic direction of SBS’ digital offering.  The following attributes and experience will contribute to your success in this role:

  • Demonstrated strategic digital marketing planning experience using internal resources – including audience research and insights – to achieve corporate and marketing objectives.
  • An end to end strategic thinker who can drive insights but is also vested in the numbers and results.
  • Demonstrated experience with all digital touch points and how they connect strategically and technically with the purpose of creating acquisition and retention strategies including online content campaigns, search marketing and social media.
  • Exceptional relationship building and maintaining skills with internal creative teams and external agency partners.
  • Ability to drive the communications agenda through all parts of the organisation through leadership and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated superior proactive communications and marketing skills befitting a digital visionary of ‘first-to-market’ ideas.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and liaise effectively with a variety and volume of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience working in a similar role with a leading brand or an agency.
  • Aligned with SBS's values and purpose.
