SBS is looking for a designer to join our vibrant Creative team for a 1 year contract position, starting mid-January 2019.
In this role you will be producing a broad range of deliverables across both digital and print spaces, including online banners, social media posts, printed signage and decals, reports and booklets. You should be familiar with delivering finished artwork to common specifications for digital and print.
Our work is very brand-focused and you will have strong skills in creating consistent artwork that aligns to our guidelines. But this is by no means a copy and paste style job; working with our creative leads you will also be given space to flex your skills on bespoke campaigns.
There is also the opportunity to cross into the motion graphics space and work with our Senior Motion Designer to produce simple endboards and titles for our on-air promos. Experience with After Effects and a willingness to learn will be greatly valued in this regard.
Strong interpersonal skills will be important, as you’ll often be collaborating with our own Creative team, the broader Marketing team and clients from all areas of the business. You will also need to liaise with external partners when delivering material.
