Sales Operations Scheduling Coordinator

About the role

The SBS Media Sales Operations team is looking for a Commercial Scheduler to join our Sales Operations Team to take responsibility for scheduling all national advertising sold for SBS television.

Suitable for a candidate that would like a career in Media Sales Operations, the successful candidate will provide scheduling, administrative support and advertising reconciliation for the media sales team. The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide scheduling support using IBMS across the following:
    • SBS
    • Viceland
    • Food Network
    • SBS Radio
  • Schedule and book TV Advertisement spots across SBS, SBS2 and SBS3, liaise with the SBS National Sales Team regarding bookings and maintain appropriate files/records.
  • Work in a fantastic team and support each other through huge projects such as:
    • World Cup
    • Tour De France
    • Eurovision
  • Reconcile revenue against paid advertising content across TV and Radio.

About you

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person who has a can-do attitude and a great eye for detail, and who would like to either grow their career in Media and Advertising or is seeking a new challenge in an exciting, and diverse environment. Ideally, you would have:

  • Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail, including an ability to organise and maintain spread sheets, databases, schedules and reports
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in providing effective administrative support to service business needs, including an ability to perform routine office tasks effectively and efficiently
  • The ability to be a team player who is pro-active and self-directed, with the ability to take on added responsibilities as required
  • Proven experience in multi-tasking several projects to meet strict deadlines, with the ability to prioritise and take direction
  • Strong computer skills, including comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with scheduling preferred but not necessary
  • Experience with IBMS (Non-Essential)
  • A tertiary education is preferred but not necessary
