SBS is a hub of innovation and talent. Everyone from senior management to the newest recruit has a shared goal of delivering high-quality, culturally-relevant media to all Australians. We realise that goal on a daily basis and we do it in more than 70 languages on radio, more than 60 on television and more than 50 online (we’re the only media company in the world who can say that). As Australia’s boldest multi-platform broadcaster, we need the country’s best and brightest individuals on our team to keep us at the top of our game.
Our Radio team is looking for Community Projects Manager, who is passionate in helping deliver our goals to deepen engagement with communities and grow audiences. To achieve this you will design identify, plan and implement community engagement strategies initiatives that are linked to our content priorities, and project manage these to ensure they are delivered on time, budget and importantly meet our goals. You will work on some varied and engaging projects, including our National Language Competition, the 2018 World Cup, SBS Radio Services Review and many more projects that will involve you representing SBS at community engagements.
The successful candidate will have proven project management experience, including developing and implement communication strategies and budget management experience. What sets you apart from the rest is your stakeholder management skills, where your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to engage with community leaders/stakeholders around Australia to enhance SBS Radio’s profile and external relationships and promote SBS with community groups.
If you want to be part of team that is committed to diversity and multiculturalism and an understanding of the role of SBS in Australian Society, we’d love to hear from you.
