Digital Ad Operations Manager

About the role

Leading a team of Digital Campaign Managers, the Digital Ad Operations Manager inspires and motivates while leading by example in a hands on capacity.

Working across SBS’s suite of digital products and platforms, the Digital Ad Operations team are responsible for managing, delivering and reporting on all digital campaigns across Mobile, Desktop and connected devices. Using DFP and other third party ad serving tools, the team are responsible for a large volume of campaigns and inventory.

The Digital Ad Operations Manager must stay at the forefront of the digital advertising industry, work closely with the Tech Operations and Programmatic teams and follow processes whilst continually working towards improvements as digital inventory and revenues grow.

About you

The successful candidate requires technical and creative thinking skills along with strong communication skills for this pivotal role in SBS Media, the commercial division of SBS.

Day to day this role will:

  • Provide support and trouble-shooting in ad technology-related areas
  • Explain technical information to broader audiences within the division 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver on schedule and to national digital budget expectations.

SBS is looking for a leader who will manage a team of Digital Campaign Managers located in Sydney and Melbourne. The successful candidate will be a great team player and have the ability to make informative decisions on behalf of the team. They will have the ability to represent the campaign side of the business alongside the Digital Pricing & Inventory Manager, Tech Ops Manager, Programmatic & Data Manager, to support the Digital Commercialisation Manager as the business moves into another year of high growth expectations.
