Corporate Affairs enables SBS to connect with all stakeholders and partners to enhance and extend SBS’s reputation, influence and reach. It supports SBS to establish strategic dialogue with its key political, community, industry and Indigenous stakeholders.About the roleReporting to the Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager, the role of Stakeholder Relations Coordinator is to deliver develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with the broader SBS team to deliver effective campaigns and events. More specifically, the duties include:Communicating with key stakeholders on issues affecting SBS, particularly as they relate to media and cultural diversityPreparing research briefings and advice for engagement opportunitiesSupporting the Corporate Affairs team by streamlining and maintaining the Stakeholder Relations database of contacts, coordinating visits, meetings and eventsExecuting projects and events as directedAssisting the Community Engagement and Partnerships Manager with evaluating projects, preparing reports and giving general administrative supportAbout youWe are looking for someone who has great communication skills and able to interact and maintain great relationships with various stakeholders. Our ideal candidate will be curious with a can do/will do approach. In addition, you would have:Previous experience in coordinating projectsSuperior research skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.Proven ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines and problem-solveWell-developed written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databasesGood understanding of multicultural stakeholders is a bonusJournalism or media background with social media skills is valuedPlease note that you will need a driving license for this role.In return, we offer a fantastic culture with great learning opportunities, onsite health and wellbeing programs, free onsite parking, free gym membership and an active social club!
