This role is classified as Level 3 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement with a casual hourly rate of $55 - $60 per hour (including casual loading). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.
As a rostered shift worker, additional shift penalty payments may apply for work performed outside of ordinary hours, including weekends and public holidays, as per the SBS Enterprise Agreement (EA). SBS may also require you to work reasonable overtime, where overtime will be paid at applicable rates in accordance with the EA.

Reporting to World News editorial leadership, the Cross-platform Journalist will report, write and compile news and feature content for SBS World News and Late News and other SBS World News platforms as requested. The role is based in Sydney.
