Divisional Business Analyst

Off the back of consistent performance, the SBS Media Sales team continues to grow and we’re now in need of a Divisional Business Analyst to work with our senior managers and provide another layer of expertise in the areas of financial analysis, forecasting and P&L management for our business units.

What you will be doing

  • You can expect to be given the opportunity to work closely with senior managers to help manage their P&L
  • You will be instrumental in identifying and driving business/process improvements, as well as develop financial models to support new business initiatives.
  • You will be the main point of contact for all financial analysis and be treated as the all-knowing data guru and we’ll help you to develop your skills along the way.

You'll be ready for your next big challenge and come equipped with:

  • Experience providing detailed revenue and costs analysis, and the ability to develop revenue forecasting using trends, market predictions
  • Demonstrate experience in preparing, interpreting and analysing divisional P&L’s, and understanding business needs, and developing appropriate solutions to meet those needs
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, with in-built personal resilience to adapt to the changing needs of the business and the industry
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to communicate and present financial information clearly to staff and management at all levels

What are we looking for?

The way we see it: This job will appeal to an experienced business analyst who has a great attention to detail, take pride in their work and has the ability to work well in a high performing team environment. This is an autonomous role, and requires an analytical thinker with a background in commercial analysis (essential) and demonstrated ability to engage with senior managers to drive success. CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion is preferred.
