NITV Promo Producer

About the role

We’re looking for an amazing Promo Producer to join the NITV Creative Team, to sell our programs and brand to our audience and above all, to celebrate our culture and our stories.

Reporting to the Creative Producer, you will be an artistic and inspired person, full of ideas and passion, and ready to deliver engaging creative content to our audiences.

You will produce original and engaging creative for television, digital and social platforms, with due consideration for style, station image, audience and deadlines, in line with NITV’s brand and our audience.

You will see you see your campaigns and projects through from idea to delivery, with a positive and solutions focused approach, delivering creative to the highest standard.

About you

The successful applicant will have;

  • Experience in a similar role producing promotional and short form content, including directing promos, short form content pieces and directing voice over talent.
  • The ability to pitch creative ideas/concepts.
  • The ability to read, break down a brief and deliver to it as well as the ability to reverse brief; to find out exactly what a client needs and wants when sometimes they don’t know themselves.
  • Strong script writing knowledge and skills for promotional spots.
  • Non-Linear editing experience (advanced skills in Premiere Pro CC is a must and experience with After Effects and others in Adobe suite would be fantastic).
  • An understanding of Indigenous Cultural Protocol and an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
