About the role
The SBS News (Digital) team is seeking an exceptional senior journalist to join on a full time basis.
You’ll be writing about the issues that matter to our digital audience, including multiculturalism, immigration, diversity and difference, that reflect the SBS Charter and unique identity.
This position requires close relationship with other News & Current Affairs programs, SBS Radio and other departments where you will collaborate to produce special features/investigative reports.
You will promote innovation in the publication of content on Digital platforms by finding new story-telling methods and repurpose content in a creative way across all platforms.
The successful applicant will need at least five years’ experience writing for digital, or print, and will be able to pitch, write and produce exclusive news and in-depth feature stories in the brand’s distinctive tone.
You must be across content management systems and photo and video editing software, and understand the latest multi-platform audience engagement techniques.
