About the role
This position is responsible for supporting the NITV Executive Editor to shape the daily editorial across all NITV platforms including a daily, live news bulletin, supervising journalists’ and supervising live studio production of live news bulletin to time and ensuring quality production.
The position will also work with the NITV Executive Editor to plan future NITV programs, themes and feature stories as well as assign and work with journalists on their stories for cross platform delivery. The key responsibilities for the position include:
You will need to be an experienced journalist who can produce high quality content across all our news platforms. You will need to have experience planning, preparing, assessing, researching, writing, editing and producing high quality news & feature scripts for TV and Online and other platforms as required. As a senior member of the team, you will be a great team player, a coach and a mentor for the more junior journalists and be able to work independently.
