Senior Digital Designer

We are currently looking for a Senior Digital Designer. As a senior member of SBS’s Design team, this position is responsible for producing digital/graphic/design creative thinking and execution suitable for online in a way that reflects SBS’s Charter, Vision and Values, fosters a positive and proactive work environment, and complies with SBS’s policies, procedures and practices.

About the role

The main tasks/responsibilities include:

  • Receive, discuss and agree upon brief from the Creative Lead and Producers on Design suitable for digital advertising..
  • Conceive and execute Design work to the highest professional standards, keeping in-line with SBS’s overall Marketing strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with peers as a senior member of the SBS Design team, contributing in a positive and energetic manner.
  • Stay abreast of digital industry developments and technological innovations, and incorporate, adapt and apply changes within SBS to ensure Design is of the highest standards.
  • Mentor and guide designers, assisting in developing their skills in digital creative.

About you

We are looking for someone passionate with great communication skills and who can work unsupervised. In addition, our ideal candidate has:

  • High-level professional skills in graphic design, with a focus on digital, social media and motion graphics creative with demonstrated artistic talent and creativity.
  • If you know your programmatic buys from your retargeting, and omnichannel marketing vs multichannel marketing we’d love to hear from you. 3 years of proven experience in a digital agency, television or post-production environment creating digital campaigns
  • Demonstrated advanced expertise in After Effects and Adobe Suite for digital creative. Experience with a CMP will be preferred (Celtra, Adobe Edge etc.)
  • Implementation of agency assets to build innovative display ads on digital devices -mobile, tablet & desktop. (Some UI/UX experience would be preffered)
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with digital industry trends and adapt as necessary.
  • Proven experience in delivering creative solutions to satisfy briefs within allocated deadlines.
  • Create quality mock-ups and prototypes
  • Drive creative solutions for digital, social and promo roll out.
  • Technical trouble-shooting / problem solving to ensure creative works as per client brief.
