    The Role

    Reporting into the BMS Manager within the BMS Team (Business Management Systems), in this role you will play a crucial role in building and improving critical custom technology solutions that directly impact linear, digital and radio services.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Design, document and develop custom technical solutions in clean and maintainable code with version control
    • Analyse, identify and execute business and technical improvements
    • Provide support, troubleshoot issues, triage and resolve issues in existing code
    • Collaborate with the business and technical teams to define requirements and build or update solutions

     About you

     We are looking for someone to join our diverse and supportive team who can proactively and creatively solve issues and find opportunities for improvement.

    We are looking for someone with the following experience:

    • Degree in computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
    • Experience in scripting, application and relational database development with technologies including PL/SQL, MYSQL, UNIX and Shell Scripts.
    • Experience in HTML, Java tech, Java Script, CSS, XML
    • Excellent documentation skills
    • Excellent communication skills with flexibility to provide information and recommendations in appropriate format based on the recipient.

    We are also interested to hear if you have any of the following skills:

    • Familiarity with IBMS or other BMS and underlying table structures
    • Experience in the Broadcast industry and knowledge of its workflows
    • Experience in cloud development
    • Experience in AWS Serverless solutions
    • Experience or understanding of Database Relationship Management
