This role is classified as Level 2 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement (with a base salary range of $68,239 - $90,000). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

SBS CulturalConnect - A Division within SBS Media

SBS CulturalConnect is a team of strategy, creative and solutions specialists that connect organisations to culture, community and Country across the SBS ecosystem.

Within this division is a dedicated Integrated Brand Solutions Team, who support the SBS Media Sales Division Nationally by developing content sponsorships proposals and bespoke proactive & reactive campaigns, authentically aligned to SBS’s diverse audience, distinctive content and cross-platforms including TV, BVOD, online, social media and digital audio. 

The Role

The CulturalConnect Team within SBS Media Sales is seeking an experienced, dynamic & tenacious team player to join us in the position of Client Solutions Executive. This integral member of the team will be responsible for driving multi-platform strategies and developing integrated solutions for SBS advertising clients.

We’re seeking someone who can be a positive representative of the wider CulturalConnect Team, and who can provide effective client strategies & solutions for all SBS properties across our multi-platform offering in an efficient manner in-line with our reactive, deadline driven business.

Note this is a 13.5month contract

The Client Solutions Executive is not only a key role for the SBS Sales team, but is an integral part of the business, responsible, amongst other things for:

  • Lead the development of go-to-market collateral/presentations for client brief responses and key SBS properties including sponsorships, case studies and post analysis
  • Assist in the ideation and development of new and innovative solutions and commercial opportunities to enhance SBS’s commercial success, with a focus on our social & digital (audio & video) content platforms
  • Collaborate closely with the CulturalConnect and National Sales Teams, Marketing and Content Teams to define integrated commercial opportunities which can be proposed proactively or within reactive client brief responses
  • Lead and/or actively contribute to brainstorm sessions to develop client specific opportunities
  • Work with Research & Strategy Team to identify compelling, supporting insights for inclusion in client brief responses and go-to-market presentations
  • Support the sales team in market, attending meetings & presentations as required

About you

You will have demonstrated experience (min. 3 years) creating integrated commercial opportunities across multiple media platforms (TV, digital, audio, social etc.), well-developed communication skills and an understanding of the media agency and sales environments, plus a positive can-do attitude to be able to hit the ground running as a representative of the CulturalConnect Team.

Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the digital audio, podcasts, social and/or influencer landscape and commercial opportunities to be able to help strengthen and grow the team’s capabilities in a rapidly changing environment.
