The Department
The Legal Division is an award-winning, high performing and engaged cross-disciplinary team of lawyers, rights experts, archivists and information governance specialists. Our purpose is to provide proactive, enabling advice and support to manage risk and contribute to SBS to achieving its goals. The Role
Reporting to a Senior Legal Counsel, in this full time role you will provide legal advice, support and leadership in relation to industrial relations and employment matters, including:
As part of the centralised SBS Legal team, and collaborating closely with the People & Culture team, in this role you will contribute to providing first class and enabling legal support and advice to all SBS teams â and will be the central point of contact for employment legal matters. About You
If you are a first-rate employment lawyer with 4-6 years PQE, strong practical experience and knowledge of employment law, industrial relations and procedure, preferably within an in-house environment â we would love to hear from you!
You are an excellent communicator and have an enabling and collaborative approach to the provision of legal advice.
You are curious about the world around you, love connecting with others, have a passion media, and capacity to learn and share knowledge.
