This role is classified as Level 5 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement (with a minimum base salary of $106,899). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Team
SBS Archives provides a range of deadline driven content access services, to all internal business units, external commissions/producers and audience members. We are responsible for managing SBS’ archival media assets and executing projects, supporting both business content goals and policy compliance. Archives also directly manages a range of media content retrieval and metadata systems.
The Division
The Legal Division is an award-winning, high performing and engaged cross-disciplinary team of lawyers, rights experts, archivists, and information governance specialists. Our purpose is to provide proactive, enabling advice and content support to manage risk and contribute to SBS to achieving its strategic goals.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Archives, the Media Archivist & Research Manager plays a critical role in a small busy team, that manages a large volume of SBS’ archival media assets and utilises many different content and metadata systems. You will be driving systems and media projects, that support business content production goals and policy compliance and servicing competing deadlines with content supply tasks, for a range of internal and external clients.
