The Department and The Role

The SBS Media Sales team is a team that is driven by a culture of continuous improvement. We are currently seeking a Sales Executive to join our team to continue to drive and implement SBS Media’s sales strategy. This role is a true cross platform sales position with sales targets across both TV and Digital platforms. Crucial to this role is managing and growing Melbourne’s agency client base, and building positive, lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

About you

You will likely be working as a Sales Executive at present within the media industry. You will have a record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets, understanding your clients' marketing challenges, and proactively working with colleagues and clients to provide effective solutions.

Ideally, the preferred candidate should have:

• Previous experience in leadership as you will have to manage and coach a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a range of situations
• Negotiation skills and ability to ensure value is maximised for both clients and the business
• Great customer service skills
• Great presentation skills
