This role is classified as Level 2 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement (with annual base salary range of $68,239 - $89,139). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Department

Our People and Culture (P&C) department works closely with our stakeholders, all while being a pillar of support to SBS and its purpose.

The Role

Reporting into the People Services Manager within the People & Culture Advisory team this role will see you contribute to the overall success of SBS through the high quality of service and administration we provide to our employees. You will be responsible for providing first tier support, administration and processing of employment arrangements to employees, managers, and the broader People and Culture team. Some duties will include and not be limited to:

  • Preparing and processing paperwork and HRIS data for staff hire, movements and other life cycle activities within SBS across both automated and paper-based workflows
  • Providing information and advice related to employment at SBS in line with internal policies and processes, to allocated Divisions and portfolios
  • Providing a professional and exceptional customer service experience including being proactive, taking initiative and problem solving

 About You

  • You love routine, thrive in process-driven environments, and meet deadlines with ease.
  • You bring sharp attention to detail – both with words and numbers – and know when to follow process and procedure, and when to think outside it to solve for slightly more complicated scenarios
  • You may have entry-level HR experience and are ready for a broader role that lets you flex your skills.
  • You are passionate about providing high-quality service across stakeholders, and understand the importance and value of working in a team.
