This role is classified as Level 5 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement (with a base salary range of $106,689 to $126,040). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Department
Dateline is Australia’s longest-running international current affairs program, featuring engaging stories about issues impacting people around the world.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced producer/editor with solid story producing and editing experience.
In this role you will creatively produce and edit half-hour documentary style episodes working closely with reporters and producers to make audience focused international current affairs. You will be required to produce, script and edit acquisitions, and liaise with film makers and distributors from around the world.
You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of an episode from story research and development and pre-production planning, managing teams on location, ingest and media management, through to scriptwriting, editing, delivery and archiving. There will be plenty of opportunity to be creative and to experiment with various visual storytelling styles.
We are looking for a compelling and innovative storyteller who can help make our content reach as many people as possible across all platforms.
