The Role
We are looking for someone with proven experience as a Production Assistant with a genuine passion for food. Previous experience working on a food series will be highly regarded.
Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, the Production Assistant supports both the production and food teams on The Cook Up. This is a hands-on role that helps keep daily studio operations running smoothly, ensuring the team is prepared, organised and supported throughout production.
Supporting daily studio operations, including preparing production packs, refreshments and set materials
Coordinating prop preparation and cloche reveal elements, working closely with the Executive Producer and food team
Managing production administration, including trackers, recipe uploads, biographies and program documentation
Organising crew catering, weekly supplies and Woolworths orders
Processing team expenses and supporting general production administration
Assisting on set during filming, supporting crew, talent and food teams as required
About You
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle a variety of tasks
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to support different teams across production
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
A calm and adaptable mindset in a busy studio environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
A genuine passion for food, with experience working on a food program highly regarded
