SBS Technology

SBS Technology can be thought of as the 'engine room' of SBS. Our primary role is to enable and support the production, distribution, and transmission of content across television, radio, and online platforms. Our teams achieve this by working collaboratively to design innovative solutions and deliver end-to-end services for our business stakeholders.

The Role

SBS is seeking a full-time Business Support Manager to support our Technology Business Management team. In this role you will:

  • Orchestrate the financial heartbeat of our operations by coordinating purchase orders, streamlining invoice processing, and providing seamless support with expense claims.
  • Serve as the vigilant guardian of our financial landscape, you'll monitor transactions and headcount/FTEs to ensure the smooth sailing of our fiscal ship.
  • Harness the power of data-driven insights, you'll wield your analytical prowess to generate comprehensive Expenditure reports and conduct value-add analysis, empowering strategic decision-making at every level.
  • Play a pivotal role in charting our financial course, you'll assist on the quarterly and annual budget/forecast process, guiding our organization toward sustainable growth and prosperity.
  • Act as the linchpin of communication, you'll foster clarity and alignment with Finance and other key stakeholders, facilitating seamless collaboration and ensuring everyone is on the same page as we navigate our financial journey.

About You

Ideally, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including a good working knowledge of Excel.
  • A background in finance or office administration would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Concur, TANDA, or equivalent systems is desirable.
  • Tertiary education in a finance-related field, with additional industry qualifications such as CA/CPA preferred.
