The Role

We're looking for a Digital Data Analyst within the Audience Data & Insights team at SBS. 

This role is a 12-month contract (end of Dec 2025) position. The role reports into the Audience Data Engineering Lead and is focused on analytics implementation. In addition, the role involves:

  • Implementing and Configuring Analytics Tools: Configure analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Platform, across diverse platforms, including web, mobile apps, and connected TVs.
  • Managing Tag Management Systems: Efficiently manage and maintain tag management systems (e.g., Ensighten, Adobe Launch) to deploy tracking codes accurately.
  • Business Requirement Translation: Gather and define business requirements, translate them into technical designs, and collaborate closely with suppliers, developers, and QA teams to validate and troubleshoot issues during implementation.
  • Data Accuracy Assurance: Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and resolve data collection and reporting issues.
  • Automated Testing: Establish automated testing procedures for audience journeys to uphold high data quality and enforce data governance policies.
  • Reporting Development: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain regular reporting.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with internal teams to seamlessly integrate data from various sources, guaranteeing data consistency and accuracy.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training to internal teams on analytics best practices and maintain comprehensive documentation of tracking implementations.

 

About You

The ideal candidate would be a data savvy individual who is comfortable working with technical teams and is able to tell a story with data visualisations.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing)
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing Adobe Analytics or Adobe Experience Platform SDK - essential
  • Familiarity working with tag management systems (e.g. Ensighten, Adobe Launch)
  • Proven experience in implementation of analytics on multiple online platforms (web, mobile, connected TV)
  • An eye for detail and a deep fluency in quantitative analysis with a passion for using data to communicate and drive product and content outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of JavaScript for custom tracking implementation is a plus
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, or Python is a plus
