Digital Optimisation Analyst

We are looking for a Digital Optimisation Analyst who will play a central role in personalising the audience experience on SBS digital platforms. The role will also lead all digital experimentation activities involving designing, executing and analysing tests. Working with key stakeholders across Product, Technology, Digital Marketing and Analytics, this role will be ensuring that personalisation use cases are articulated and prioritised for execution. The Digital Optimisation Analyst will also be responsible for delivering the roadmap of personalisation and A/B testing initiatives.

About the role

This is a 17 month contract, full time position. This role will be the internal subject matter expert for personalisation technologies and work with internal teams to deliver that personalisation and testing roadmap. Some of the responsibilities of the role in more details include:

  • Conducting ideation sessions with stakeholders to surface distinct use cases for key product areas
  • Building and managing key artefacts and processes that relate to these initiatives – maintain technical design, functional specification and use cases
  • Helping drive uplift in audience engagement metrics by continuously optimising digital experiences
  • Maintaining an enterprise-wide testing and personalisation calendar to co-ordinate testing initiatives
  • Using Agile methodologies to deliver in collaboration with other technical teams in SBS
  • Identifying and recommending data collection, data capability & data quality improvements
  • Connecting findings and recommendations to business initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders at various management levels
  • Conducting data deep-dives and communicate actionable insights to stakeholder teams

About you

We are looking for someone with an alignment with our brand, our purpose and values who embraces working collaboratively for the benefits of our audiences. Our environment is always changing, so whist teamwork is key for this role, it’s also important that the successful person can work independently. You will also have:

  • Experience setting up experiments in tools such as Adobe Target or Optimizely
  • Experience in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) would be desirable
  • Exposure to related marketing technologies such as Adobe Analytics, Audience Manager or Adobe Campaign
  • Strong understanding of CX principles and best practices on various digital platforms such as mobile, desktop and OTT
  • Ability to frame use cases into a hypothesis-based testing approach along with strong statistical & analysis skills
  • Good knowledge of experimentation, AB testing and personalisation
  • Experience working with digital product teams in an Agile environment
  • Experience managing data-driven research from project inception to communication of insights and recommendations
  • The ability to explain complex quantitative information to non-technical audiences.
