The Role

Reporting to the National TV & Digital Sales Manager, this role will see you doing the following:

  • Creating short, medium and long commercial advertising strategies to deliver above market performance across SBS Digital channels with direct clients and agreed independent agencies nationally.
  • Developing and executing national direct revenue business plans including identification of target, secondary and key clients, proactive opportunities, forecast revenues and pipeline, client contact lists.
  • Driving weekly new business leads and increase share with existing agreed clients and independent agencies. 
  • Be an advocate for SBS, SBS content and demonstrate clear understanding of how SBS digital assets work, both in isolation and as an integrated solution including data and premium advertising products to assist clients achieve business objectives. 
  • Assist in Leading cross functional teams from across the business to deliver responses to high level briefs. 

About you 

This critical client facing role sits at the centre of our integrated sales structure. The role will have complete revenue and client responsibility for a national assigned territory of direct and independent agency advertisers.

Ideally, you will possess the following:

  • Have a proven strong network of direct advertiser relationships.
  • Proven record of closing deals and personally driven to achieve targets across multiple cross platform assets. 
  • Possess strong commercial acumen.  
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic sales experience. 
  • Experience leading and managing a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt and be flexible to change, leading your team through change.
