About the Role
National Indigenous Television (NITV) is looking for a National Editor to lead the agenda across our daily news services for our communities on all platforms.
The National Editor will set the daily news agenda and direction for NITV news, working with the Executive Editor and the Head of Digital to assign stories that provide the depth and insight into significant issues impacting the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We expect the highest editorial standards and a commitment to our charter responsibilities including primacy of Indigenous voice and perspective in all NITV content.
It is a requirement of this role that incumbents are vaccinated with at least two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccination. We do however have a medical exemption process and we would be happy to discuss your application should this be applicable to you.
