The Role

The Content Operations team in the SBS Television and Online Content division is tasked with ensuring SBS’s content pipeline and includes specialist teams such as Content Discovery, Digital Projects, and Classification.

A member of the Classification Team has been headhunted for a film festival opportunity for six months, and this opens the door for someone new to join the team.

This is a six-month, fixed term contract for three days a week, remote.

In this role you will have;

  • Considerable autonomy in work allocation, location, and work hours.
  • Daily collegiate discussions.
  • World's best content to analyse and classify.

You will also have the opportunity to;

  • View, classify, and create relevant edit plans as required for content across a range of platforms, in line with the SBS Code of Practice.
  • Advise staff on classification matters and assist in the training of relevant SBS staff in classification skills and procedures.
  • Contribute to the drafting of reports and correspondence on classification issues.
  • Monitor developments in classification nationally and internationally.

About You

We are looking for an individual with integrity, and experience classifying content in Australia.  Someone who enjoys working under their own steam, and delights in sharing ideas and experience with their colleagues.
