Audio Operator - Casual

This role is classified as Level 2 Content and Production ($66,575-$86,965 pr-rata base salary range) under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement. The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated casual team member to join our Audio Operations Team in Sydney and play a pivotal role in facilitating the creation of compelling audio content across our  national radio networks and digital platforms, including Podcasts and Streaming.

We’re looking for the next SBS Audio superstar who:

  • Has passion for Audio and digital content: An enthusiasm for Audio,  and online content creation and a keen interest in staying abreast in industry trends and emerging technologies. Experience or a strong interest in digital video production is a plus.
  • Is culture first: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Has experience working closely with cross functional team.
  • Is tech Savvy: Demonstrated expertise in operating equipment and familiarity with audio and digital production technologies. Radio, tv or digital experience will be highly regarded.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to provide technical guidance and support to broadcasters, journalists, and clients. Proactive problem solver with the ability to think on your feet and address challenges swiftly.
