The Department
The Audio and Language Content team is seeking a part-time Producer to join us in the Malayalam language program. Audio and Language Content produces the most linguistically diverse public broadcasting in the world, providing Australian-focused news and information in over 63 languages across live radio and digital platforms.
The Role
With a sound understanding of the Malayalam-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities, as a producer, you will contribute to fostering audience engagement on-air and online. Prior experience in journalism or broadcasting will be highly regarded.
This role is classified as Level 2 Content & Production Level 2 Content and Production ($66,575 - $86,965) under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement. The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.
About you
This role is being offered on a part-time basis offering 18 hours per week. The successful applicants must have full Australian working rights and reside within Sydney or Melbourne.
