This role is classified as Level 6 Content and Production ($122,967 - $146,169) under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement. The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Department

Streaming and Digital Products deliver SBS’ digital product suite across various mobile applications and websites and the SBS On Demand platforms. The department is comprised of cross-functional teams and provide the full end-to-end delivery process. This role is located within the Product team and more specifically, within the SBS On Demand Product team.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Product Manager will:

• Contribute to the overall product vision for SBS On Demand with a focus on engaging current users and encouraging deeper viewing of SBS’ over 15,000 hours of TV Shows, Movies, News and Sport
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyse and monitor platform success and engagement
• Contribute to/leading ideation workshops for new features and product directions
• Be responsible for the Product Ownership of SBS On Demand’s Apple product suite (i.e. tvOS and iOS applications), including day-to-day meeting attendance and product road mapping
• Practice Agile methodologies including writing user stories, defining requirements and participating in Scrum ceremonies
• Champion the product to assist with overall prioritisation and cross-departmental stakeholder management

About you

Ideally, you will have:

• A strong background in Product
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A curious mind and a passion for pursuing innovative ways to solve common problems
• Keen collaborator and engaged participant in ongoing meetings and workshops
• Nice to have:
  • Experience in delivering products across the Apple platforms
  • Experience working in the digital entertainment space
