About the Role
Join a purpose-driven media organisation where your sales expertise helps connect diverse Australian stories with audiences nationwide. As part of our growing Brisbane team, you’ll play a key role in strengthening SBS Media’s presence in the Queensland market and driving meaningful commercial outcomes.
This role is classified as Level 2 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement offering a highly competitive salary package reflective of your experience + generous commission structure.
This is a 12-month temporary full-time role.
What you'll be doing
As a Sales Executive, you’ll help drive and implement SBS Media’s sales strategy across the Brisbane market. You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of agency clients, build strong relationships, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver effective, insight-driven solutions.
Your key responsibilities include:
Managing and expanding Brisbane’s agency client base
Building strong, longâterm relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Understanding client marketing challenges and delivering tailored solutions
Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets
Providing exceptional customer service and highâquality presentations
Coaching and supporting team members where leadership opportunities arise
You’re likely already working as a Sales Executive within the media industry and have a track record of delivering strong results. You understand the needs of agency partners, enjoy solving client challenges, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
Proven experience achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong communication and negotiation skills
The ability to adapt your approach to different clients and situations
Excellent presentation and customer service skills
Previous leadership or mentoring experience (highly regarded)
